People’s Action For Development
People’s Action For Development (PAD) is a Non-Profit, Non-Governmental Organization which was founded in 2004 by few like-minded people from a different section of the society inspired the idea of establishment of peace, equality, justice, and homogeneity in the society and founded with the noble ideas of People’s Action for Development (PAD). It is believed that the actions of the people play the most important role in the development of society. Therefore, it commits to the philosophy by transferring the ownership of all its efforts to the community.
Our Projects
Skill Development Program
The society has conducted various skill development training programs under the Livelihood Income generation program for the poor women.
Special School for Child Labors
Every child has the right to get basic education and attend school; we try to provide child laborers minimum education.
Toilet Construction and Create Awareness
The facility of using a clean sanitary toilet is not available in the rural areas of Nawada District. 600 toilets for the BPL & POP family
Formation and Management of SHGs
Self-help groups are the best association to solve the problems of poor people in rural areas by providing business ideas.
Our Achievements
- We are playing a great role in getting the benefit of SHGs members from Govt. schemes and programs and avail their rights and Entitlement.
- Our Society is assisting the community in promoting awareness about the various Government Schemes (Narega, Total Sanitation, SGSY, MKSY, Kanya Vivah Yojana, Old age pension, Matritiva Labh, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Schemes, IAY)among the Members of SHGs on the following issues: What is the Benefit of theses schemes, How to apply, Whom to apply, Assist in filling the forms, Coordinating with Officials, Conduct meeting and workshop with Community members and Government Officials.
- Under the convergence program, 352 women have been getting life insurance and opening 500 bank accounts with zero balance.
- Construction of bridge at Miyan Bigha under the program of MNREGA.

Training on Dairy Management
Animal Welfare is a very good way of income generation system for the people of rural areas and we provide them training.
Awareness Generation on Social Evils
With the help of local administrators and common people we started an awareness generation program upon social evils.
Women Empowerment Program
We, the members of People’s Action For Development, had organized a seminar on ‘women empowerment’ at Nardiganj of Nawada district.
