We had organized an awareness program through Nukkad Natak and debate on Dowry system and child marriages Orro, Miyan bigha, Janpura, the village of Nardiganj Block.
Legal Awareness
We had organized awareness programs through Nukkad Natak and debate on Dowry system and child marriages at Badhona Village of Hisua block. In the program, people shared their experiences and views on dowry and child marriages with their effects on society. The output of this activity has created a clear understanding of the social evils of the society.
Environmental Program
Awareness program regarding plantation of trees had been organized at the Bajara village of Hisua Block in Nawada district. Several people have participated in the program and shared their views on the benefit of the trees and their roles for human beings. In this program, the topic of deforestation and its challenges were discussed and the suggestions were made to overcome the issues of deforestation in the villages.
Seminar on Women Empowerment
We had organized a seminar on ‘women empowerment’ at the premises of Nardiganj Block in Nawada district. The objective of the seminar was to discuss the role of self-help groups in women empowerment. In the seminar, social experts had shared the views on these topics and about 50 participants including the members of SHGs had also shared their experiences regarding the issue of women empowerment as well as the short out problem with the help of self-help groups.
